    - you do NOT have Windows XP Service Pack 3 installed on the PC. One of BitDefender requirements in order to work as intended is an Operating System: Windows XP SP3 or above;


    I would recommend you to read THIS Microsoft Article on how to proceed with the update. For more information about the upgrade please contact Microsoft Customer Care.


    - you have another security solution installed on your PC: Norton 360. Allow me to remind you that having two or more security software installed on the same PC will affect its performance and speed.
