Hi,

I want to install BitDefender on a computer for a client without registering an account.

The reason I want to do this is the customer purchases a computer and antivirus.

It gets installed and setup in house and then taken onsite and installed.

The customer will create the account onsite if needed, however we need to preload the license into the computer.

This is preventing us from pre installing it and we are forced to create email accounts for customers just for bit defender.

Is there a way to postpone the registration, or skip it?

Is there a special OEM installer we can use that doesn't require it before installing?

However the answer was given in PM so none of us can benefit from it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Wihan,

Are you an authorized BitDefender reseller? If so, you can contact your KAM (Key Account Manager) and request a retail version.

Otherwise, a workaround is to download the full install kit from here and cut off the internet connection during activation. After installation is completed, the customer can simply select "Fix All Issues" and he will be prompted to login under an existing account or create a new one.
