Hi

This is mostly a post on the whole internet Security product...I have an older computer with XP..1gb of ram and a 2.66 ghz intel pentium 4 cpu.....My computer runs great on Norton but was thinking of getting Bit Defender 2012 internet security but when they recommend a duel core processor it sounds like future slow downs....

Does anyone have an older computer that can tell me if it will cause problems?

  • Hello,

I can confirm you that you can install BitDefender Internet Security 2012 on that PC configuration however you should keep in mind that having all its options enabled may result in a small PC slowdown. I would personally recommend you to keep AVC option disabled.

I have installed it on a similar PC two night ago, in a remote session and everything was working just fine. If you need any further assistance please let me know.

    Best regards,
