Laptop Mode Sometimes Not Working

Hello Laptop mode always work when you disconnect the AC and you start working only with the battery, this is everything ok.


the problem is when you turn on the computer only with your battery, in that case bitdefender doesnt detects the laptop mode and is still working in a normal way.

    What are your PC details ? What Windows are you using? What BitDefender product? 32-bits or 64-bits architecture?

    - how did you came to the conclusion that the laptop mode is not working?


    Perform the following steps and send me the file gamemode.xml from the location:


    C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2012\settings


    1. Set Bitdefender on AutoPilot;


    2. Make sure "Auto Scan" and "Auto Update" are ON;


    3. Turn OFF the PC;


    4. Unplug the AC;


    5. Start the PC;


    6. Check if the two options above are still turned ON or switched automatically to OFF - they should be OFF;


    7. Plug in the AC power and see if the two options will turn back ON.
