Bd Antivirus Plus 2012 Messing With Bluray On Powerdvd 10

Apologies if this has already been discussed, I've tried searching and have found some old topics but none which seem to fit my problem. Many thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to give.

When I go to play a Bluray it says:

"The integrity of CyberLink PowerDVD is at risk - check your antivirus software for malicious activities or try reinstalling Power DVD 10"

And the software refuses to play the disc.

So I've looked on the internet and found a lot about problems between older version of the software and tried a few things.

  • I've turned off auto-start (as I was autostarting) and opened the software and played manually - same response.
  • I've gone into BD and added the whole folder PowerDVD is in to exclusions - same response.
  • I've looked on the actions and seen something about an auto play problem and told it to allow it - nothing changes.

The software worked fine when I was using the trial of McAfee the laptop came with, it's definitely a BD problem.

Is there a solution and if not can I get a refund and uninstall?

Same Exact thing happened to me after I added a Blu Ray Player to my computer. Exclusions is definitely the right area to be in to get this resolved.

    Solution using

Launch Bit Defender 2012 Choose Settings-->Antivirus--> Exclusions

Under Processes you want to choose "Excluded Processes"

    Navigate to c:\program files (x86)\cyberlink\powerdvd9\powerdvd9.exe

    choose Ok..

    Launch PowerDvd and enjoy...

Note You may want to add these exclustions as well found in an older post..

    (Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\Activate.exe, CLDrvChk.exe, CLHelper.exe, PDVD9Serv.exe, PDVDLaunchPolicy.exe, PowerDVD9.exe

    Program Files\CyberLink\PowerDVD9\PowerDVD Cinema\PDVDCinService.exe, PowerDVDCinema.exe, PowerDVDCox.exe,TaskScheduler.exe).
