Support Options

Hi,


For the last 3 days I have been attempting to gain support for antivirus plus 2012.


I have PM'ed DanyDan with a link to the file created by the support tool & just now have created a support request with a link to the BDSP zip file but did not receive a ticket number. (is this normal)


I guess I just need to know if my request has been received by anyone.

    I have received the logs you sent via PM and analyzed them. Found the following Norton Symantec driver present in your PC:


    133    eeCtrl.sys    91D33000    \??\C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\EENGINE\eeCtrl.sys


    What Norton product have you used before installing BitDefender? Do you use BitDefender in what language? What is the exact name of the file you used to install BitDefender on your PC?

    The only Norton product would likely have been the free version pre loaded when my laptop was delivered 4/5 years ago & long since uninstalled. (not completely obviously)

    Not sure on the exact file name. The file I downloaded was bitdefender_antivirus_2012.exe

  • I've deleted all references to Symantec & Kaspersky, including registry entries.


    I'm also getting the video lag on youtube(Flash) videos mentioned elsewhere.
