Some Issues Require Your Attention
Hello,
Brand new user... couldn't find this answers in any of the docs, or in searching the forum for the string "some issues require".
Anyway, In Settings/Antivirus/Custom I've selected "Scan only applications". However, when I do this, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 displays an orange banner with "Some issues require your attention" and "There is one issue to fix".
Clicking this banner brings up a box that explains that "Scan all files is disabled".
Well yeah... I chose that option myself... so why is it flagged as an "issue"?
Sure hope I haven't chosen poorly by purchasing a five seat license for the product.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Rick Gates

Welcome to the forum, Rick.
When you received the "issue" warning, did you follow on through?
Uncheck the Fix box and another window will appear asking how long you want to postpone the issue. From the drop down box, select Permanently.
I've never selected anything but All Files, so I'm not sure what happens from that point forward. Viruses can infect other files besides applications... but certainly your choice.
