Excluding An Application From Scanning

New to BD. I have BDIS 2012 Trial installed, and am pretty impressed. One thing seems odd, though. When BDIS finds a suspicious activity I want excluded, I think the dialog presented me should offer me a choice to add such an application to all the Exclusion lists. As I see it, I have to manually add it to each of the three the dialog didn't trigger when I said "Allow" (AV Excluded Files, AV Excluded Proceses, and Firewall Application Rules).

    Have you followed this instructions?

    Thank you.

  • Yes. But that's what I'm talking about. Why should we have to go through all those steps manually? Why not just allow us to tell BD to do that when we choose "Allow" when a popup shows up?

    Hello

That pop-up that you are talking about is generated by the Active Virus Control, Intrusion Detection System or Firewall(with Paranoid Mode turned ON)?

If you don't know which module is generating that, you can post a screenshot here.

I need that information in order to answer to your question.

    Thank you.
