Unable To Complete Registration: Activation Link Does Not Work / Resending Does Not Work
Hi guys,
I'm having a problem with my Bitdefender 2012 Total Security.
I have a valid Bitdefender account that was used to activate the same product successfully on my laptop and registration went fine and was complete.
However, on my current desktop computer, I keep getting reminders to complete registration when I already have tried to activate my account before.
When I click on 'resend activation link', it gives the error "Unexpected error. Please try again later." (Screenshot attached)
Please help! Thanks!

Hello
I have analyzed those logs. You have some missing files in the current installation.
Please follow the steps described here and repair the product.

Hi Christian,
I did as instructed but the problem persisted. However, I managed to fix it by using a different email address account. It's very odd because it seems the problem was caused using my original bitdefender email account.0 -
Welcome back
I have searched that account in our database and everything is in parameters.
Let me know if you still need assistance on this.

Hello
Welcome to the forums!
I've checked the account status on the server and is set to Active.
Do you still encounter any issues?

Hi, I've received this issue twice before, but was able to fix it with an uninstall then a re-install.
The first two times it simply wouldn't let me complete the registration, but now it comes up with a blank window and the message "You need to have javascript enabled to view this page." As far as I know, javascript is enabled. The email I registered the license with is the same email I am registered under on here. The issue began when I accidentally created a second account, with no licenses under it, under another email I use. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.0 -
