[resolved]bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 Latest Update Stops Cygwin From Working Correctly
I use Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 registered user version. It auto updates. This morning after it updated, I attempted to run Cygwin and got an error. I have included it below. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Cygwin was working fine with Bitdefender before the update today. If I deactivate Bitdefender, Cygwin runs fine and gives no error. There was an issue with Bitdefender and Cygwin in the past, but it was fixed. Looks like you guys reintroduced another issue. Please fix it. Thank You.
Here is the text from the Cygwin window error:

Hello
Have you tried to add the software to exclusions?

Let me know if this solves the issue.

I haven't tried to add it to exclusions. but after the latest updates yesterday and today. Cygwin is working fine again. I guess this is not an issue now. Go ahead and lock this thread. Thank you.0 -
