Auto Pilot/auto Scan Turn Off -- Freezing Issues

Hi - I'm a long time BitDefender customer and recently upgraded to BitDefender Antivirus Plus 2012 on both my Win7 x64 desktop systems. I have 2 issues (unsure if they're related) I'm requesting help with.


Almost immediately following install, I began experiencing system freezes on both systems. On closer inspection, I recognized that the common denominator on both systems was that BitDefender services were not responding. This required a reboot which usually fixed the problem...however, this is a recurring issue that requires a few reboots a week. Additionally, there are times the system does not freeze and I'm able to surf the internet among other activities without BitDefender protection.


Second, both Auto Pilot and Auto Scan are frequently disabled (auto turn off) on reboots. Again, this is something that I have to catch otherwise leaving my systems vulnerable which voids the whole purpose of this software purchase.
