Bitdefender Security Service (vsserv.exe)

I'm now using bitdefender plus 2013. I downloaded last night and run system scan. It takes long and can never finish because the scan broke sudden and showed it has problem with 'bitdefender security service (vsserv.exe)' and asked me to reboot. I did what it said but it broke down again. plz advice me how to do. I have tried twice.
