  • Hello :)

A product update was released. Your build should be 16.24.0.1682(please right click on Bitdefender icon from system tray-near the clock-and choose "About". You should see in the left side the build number).

In order for the product update to be installed, you need to reboot your machine(you should see in the Events -> "Reboot required" under the Update module).

Let me know if the situation is solved.

    Have a nice day.

  • I'm running the latest build now myself ( Build 1682 ) ,and am still having the issue that Windows Action Center is saying that Bitdefender is still turned off . On top of that I am also having the issue that the start menu takes a long time ( 2 minutes ) to load now . If I turn off on access scanning , everything works fine . As soon as I turn on On Access scanning , the system slows to a crawl .

    Windows 7 X64 fully updated .

  • Hello :)

The issue that you have reported has been acknowledged by our team and is currently being worked on for a fix. The fix will be done by means of automatic update and won't require any additional action from your part. Please rest assured that we will let you know about the fix as soon as we will launch it.

These is a miscommunication between the product and Action Center. If you don't see any warnings in the main window, the product is functioning properly.

We are very sorry for any inconvenience that we may have created and we rest at your disposal for further information.
