Strategies To Filter Images

I am seeking techniques to filter images of a.dult content under one of my profiles. With the ****** category enabled, there is restriction to websites of the a.dult nature on internet explorer. On firefox, compatibility with bitdefender is not the same, allowing for one to search for "**** under google. Now the search results appear, but bitdefender does prevent from going to actual sites. However, if one clicks on "images" a full array of a.dult images appear.

So here is my question: Is there anyway to prevent a.dult images from appearing in the way I described. Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to filter images of not only the a.dult variety, but of images that although I would hold in same category, our culture has deemed them acceptable (lingerie, bikini, semi-###### shots).

Trying my best to take advantage of the the parental control software

  • Hello :)

Are you using the standalone application or you have Internet/Total Security installed?

    Thank you!

  • I have the same problem with Chrome.

I have the Web Schedule set to block all (i.e., 100% red checks). I then have two (non-google) websites set to Allow on the Blacklist/Whitelist Web page.

In Internet Explorer, Google.com is blocked (as expected)

In Chrome, google.com is available and image searches return a results page. It's not until an image or link in the results is clicked that the 'blocked by your parents' page appears.
