I Can't Connect My Ipod Touch To My Computer Over Wifi

I try to connect application to my computer over WiFi the same WiFi(internet) but it doesn't work because of the anti-virus(Bitdefender Total Security 2013) It stops it all the time my other anti-virus didn't(Panda Global Protection 2013) I think bitdefender is better! Please can you help me connecting this application to my computer!
