Automatic File Deletion

For some reason your antivirus is deleting shortcuts to genuine software I have installed. This is VERY, VERY annoying. I wasn't happy when it deleted Cyberlink media, or the opensource software, GIMP for image manipulation which took hours to install and which I needed for making a wedding album for my friend. Let alone when it deleted music from my library. But it just deleted the shortcut for Blurb Booksmart totally at random and without prompt. I've been making a book and now I can't use the program properly. That's cr@p.
Thanks a bunch Bit Defender. Please tell me how I can reinstate these shortcuts on my start menu so I don't have to go via the programs menu. If it can't be done you'd better expect a twitter feed telling the world about it.
Yours sincerely

Why do some people have to use threats? No need for it, every piece of sofware has some problem or other. You'd probably get a quicker response if you were polite and respectful.
Anyway, back to the issue, I had EXACTLY the same issue, but not with Bitdefender, had it with Panda. I stopped using it and came to Bitdefender and been quite happy the past two months, although the BD interface tries to be easy but is not really intuitive compared with other AV out there.0 -
