Disabling Bdparentalservice.exe

Hi,
I installed IS 2013 today. Noticed bdparentalservice.exe taking up not insignificant memory. Don't need it, and would like to know if there is a way to diable it via Bitdefender (not via Windows).
I've read other posts that seem to be addressing the same thing; however, the responses were not satisfactory. Responses seem to be suggesting that there is an option to "disable" parental control via the MyBitdefender account. There isn't an option to "disable" anything; only to "create" a profile (for a child, e.g.).
Would appreciate some useful input.
