Windows 8 & Rescue Disk
When previously using rescue mode in bitdefender av plus 2013, My windows 8 machine locked me out and went into a permanent loop, I'd like to know if these issues are being addressed? Rescue mode is an important utility, are we paying for faulty goods here ? Windows 8 really doesn't play nice with the linux OS, what's being done and are there any workarounds ? I wont test this again as I do not fancy re-installing my OS and recovering data. I'm sure being WIN8 compatible included rescue mode, thus there must be a workaround or fix in place ? Booting using external media yielded the same results last time too,so offering to burn a rescue mode CD really isn't any help either. I know this isn't a localized occurrence as I've tested on separate machines with different configs.
Any input would be appreciated here.
