Windows 8 Memory Usage Vs Windows 7

I am not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but I have found my old Windows 7 partition and I'm just wondering if more Bitdefender users at this time are running Windows 8 or 7 and if there is much of a memory issue (goes down in memory usage) if I switch to 7. No real problems here though.
I'm just curious...
