Settings - Export/backup (v.2015)

Hi,

Are export/backup settings of:

- firewall

- antivirus exclusions

in BitDefender 2015 possible?

I helped myself.

1. Firewall settings are stored in file "profiles.xml":

..\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2015\settings\firewall\profiles.xml

2. A-virus exclusions are stored in file "excludemgr.xml":

..\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2015\settings\system\excludemgr.xml

and/or

..\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender 2015\settings\system\LGKC\excludemgr.xml

To restore the settings, copy the files from our backup to the indicated folders AFTER STARTING WINDOWS IN SAFE MODE (F8)

I'd also like to add that I think BD should be exited out before pasting the backup to the desired directory to avoid issues. Then start it up or restart once the xml files are in place.

BitDefender is not opened in Windows in the safe mode (F8), so no need to "exit" whatever it means /as far as possible .
