Bitdefender 2015 False Positive With Pinnacle Game Profile

Bitdefender 2015 allows installation of Pinnacle Game Profiler but prevents it from running, almost certainly a false positive. What file/process do I need to add to exclusions, to ensure this product will run?

    So far it looks like you haven't received any response on what exact files to add in Exclusions: http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/forum/show...er-from-running


    You may have to go with the "shotgun" approach, and include anything you can find from the usual places: Program Files/ App Data/Program Data/etc. Even though this is from the 2013 forum, these steps for adding to exclusions are pretty much the same, and since you have the Security Suite, would want to add to the Firewall, also. For 2015 BD/Protection panel and the settings tab. Create the exclusions, and restart your PC. If you wanted to forgo any firewall exclusions, you could 1st try to enable Paranoid Mode, in which case you may get a pop up related to this software "to allow". Go to the top of the main BD UI/Personal setting icon/General Settings and enable Paranoid mode, restart your PC (at the same time after adding AV exclusions)


    If the above doesn't work, turn off AVC from the Protection panel/Antivirus settings and disable Active Virus Control and restart your PC. If this solves it, you would need to exclude the files in Processes, as per the exclusions steps provided from the above link.
