Bitdefender Firewall Broadcast - Icmp

My bitdefender is constantly sending out an ICMP Request declaring itself as a BitDefender Firewall. Why is it doing this? :unsure: The system is not part of a managed solution. It stands alone on a workstation.


I cannot find in the forums where anyone has given a solution to this. It seems silly to broadcast out to the network what firewall and antivirus solution the workstation is using. <_<
