I had a trialversion of BD antivirus plus 2016 and a central account. I uninstalled the program, because I could not buy it from out my central account.

So I bought it and made a new central account to instal the program.

I was not amused that a trialversion of BD Total Security 2016 was installed on my pc instead of the antivirus that I bought for one year. I found Total security in my central account.

I looked in my old central account and there was the subscriptium of bitdefender antivirus with 365 days to go. But there was non device attached to the subscriptium. Phoned the helpdesk and was adviced to uninstal Total security and then go to the old account in wich the subscriptium was and there download bitdefender. It should be the version that was subscribed.

So I did and I was totally confused then I discoverd it was the trialversie of Total security again.

Help.

Run the uninstaller for the Trial Version found here - http://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/unins...umer_trial.html

Go to Windows Control Panel>Programs and Features and make sure the Bitdefender Agent is also uninstalled, if it isn't do so from there. I suspect if the BD Agent is not uninstalled then Central will detect the old one.

You can now download BD TS and log into BD Central. I usually download from here - http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=59500 and add my Central account details at the end.

It helps. Bitdefender is now working properly. I am very happy with it.
