Bitdefender Internet Security 2016 Firewall Can't Block Explorer.exe [bug ?]
I want to block Explorer.exe because it establishes connection with suspicious microsoft's sites, like:
bn1wns2011617.wns.windows.com: https
msnbot-65-52-108-192.search.msn.com
msnbot-65-52-108-217.search.msn.com
a96-6-201-115.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com
a104-96-6-248.deploy.static.akamaitechnologies.com
I created a simple elevated privileged tool to update my hosts file in order to block those urls, which changes everytime a restart explorer.exe, and hardly found out that those from akamaitechnologies are forbidden to be blocked, since bitdefender detected as malicious when trying to block thoses urls, anyway, what I don't want to allow explorer is those first ones.
So, there is no use with bitdefender's firewall, I had to install another firewall, at least it works as I wish.
Hope you fix that.
