Retire Old Pc And Move Bitdefender To New Pc

I am retiring an old laptop and replacing it with a new one. If I just uninstall Bitdefender from the old laptop, will Central be updated? In other words, will my installed device count in Central be reduced by one?

If just uninstalling Bitdefender from the laptop is not enough to remove it as a subscribed device in Central, what do I have to do to free up a device in Central in order to install Bitdefender on my new laptop?

Uninstall Bitdefender using the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool.

Open Windows Control Panel>Programs and Features and uninstall Bitdefender Agent (if it is still there)

Now you can install BD on your new laptop. When doing this I find it best to install from here and link to Central when the installation is complete.
