Bitdefender Locking Hostsfile
I have just installed HostsMan on Win8 to stop malicious hosts and whatnot but Bitdefender seems to have overtaken the Hostsfile completely. I am unable to restore it or delete it. It even crashed explorer when i tried to so i had to restart the ###### process!
I have tried to disable Bitdefender under Protection > Antivirus and 'Intrusion Detection' but with no luck. I don't want to boot into safe mode. This is absurd how an application can completely lock out a file like this.. causing instabilities in windows and not allowing me to access websites. Surely there should be a a one click button to temporally disable all Bitdefender services?
