Central Won't Allow The Same Email Address As Previously Used By Mybitdefender
I am trying to set up a new account with BD Central however the registration process rejects my email address because I have used it in mybitdefender. Is there a way around this without using another email address?

Strange as I use the same for both - to check I logged into both of them with the same email and password.

Same isssue here. I just got off the phone with Support and they said sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. How is that for an answer? " />
In my case what happened is I have a subscription to BDTS for my PCs. I purchased a Lenovo laptop and decided to purchase a subscription for BDAV Plus 2016 to install on the Lenovo. They took my money and but when I went to activate it BD Central downgraded the subsription for all my PCs to from BDTS to BDAV Plus 2016 and added one year to the days remaining. However, it also showed I had zero of one installed. Which means the process wiped out my subscription to BDTS.
So right now I do not dare to restart Windows on my W10 PCs or else BDTS will become inactive or it might become inactive before a restart.
Support told me it would be resolved in 48 hours but I am not holding my breath.
This is not the first time I have had a problem with Bitdefender Central. The other one took about 20 - 30 emails, 10 or so phone calls and a half a dozen tweets over a month before it was resolved. I am not holding my breath on this one being easier.
I will say this. If this issue is not resolved by Bitdefender without me spending too much more time on it, I am done with Bitdefender. Finished goodbye. So long. I don't care how good the protection is.
