Bitdefender Block My Router And Thereby Every Connection To The Internet

I got BitDefender today and it has "worked" until now, and all of a sudden it said it blocked a ping request from 192.168.14.1 (my router and DNS server), and I lost all connection to the internet. Disabled the firewall without any luck, had to uninstall BitDefender to get online again. What is going on? This seems like stupid behavior?
