Cannot install Internet Security 2015 on Windows 10 64-bit

Hello,

I'm trying to re-install Bitdefender Internet Security 2015 after it brokes itself for a missing file (mfcu100u.dll). I first uninstalled using the Uninstall Tool and then I started a new installation using the installer I got from here.

I get this error:

There was a problem while downloading one of the files.

I try hit the Retry button many times but it crashes. The installation stops at 42% every time.

I also followed this guide but no fix.

Anyway I installed Internet Security 2015 not 2017, and I'm trying to re-install it aswell.

Hello,

The mfcu100u.dll is part of Visual C runtime 2010. Please uninstall it(should it be present on the system) and then reinstall it to ensure proper functionality.

No fix. I installed the Visual C runtime 2010 (both x64 and x86).
