BD2017 keeps telling me im connected to an unsecure wifi signal

as topic says, i keep getting this messaged but my wifi is connected via a password supplied by BT that is a mixture of random letters and numbers some capital and some not etc, so its a pretty good password, i dont know why i keep getting the message though, the wifi connecttion deffinitly isnt open, even when i click on the network icon it says connected, secure.

any ideas?

  • Hi

I have the same issue. In the BD-Security Center I only see two secured wifi-connections. Have send my logs to bitsy@bitdefender.com.

    regards Michael

  • I also have the same issue on BT with the new smart hub. I think it's down to the smarthub automatically switching from 2.4ghz to 5ghz and wi-fi channels. Just a guess but i think that's what it is.
