Static IP / VPN
Just recieved my Bitdefender Box. Have not installed it yet tho because when I went to the Google Play Store to download the app to control the Box I was reading the comments. So, I am going to continue to use my Router and not use the Box as a router. I know that the Box in turn will disable DHCP on my router!!!! My question is, what other changes will the Box make to my Router settings. Also, I have a mix of machines that have static Ip's and some are DHCP, How will this setup be affected? Also, I have media server that has a static IP and is sent trhough a VPN via my Router, how will this be affected???
