Unsafe Wi Fi Connection

Hello,


           I signed up for a free trial of Bitdefender Internet Security 2017 and did a vulnerability scan and the result said my Wi Fi connection is unsafe - the password is weak.  So, should I change the password, and if so, how would I do that?   Bitdefender recommended connecting to a more secure network ( which I do not know how to do) - or use Bitdefender Safepay.  If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate it.  AT&T set up this router 2 years ago  Thank you for any help.

    Hello,


     


    You can change the password and its encryption from the router's settings.


    If you are not familiar with router settings it would be best to have your Internet Service Provider assist in changing it. I am assuming they have a default password.
