Hi, I have just installed BitDefender 2017 and sometimes I have to disable it for some minutes. When I used BitDefender 2016 I was able to find this option but on I am not able to find it in this new version. Where is it please? Thanks.

I have never had reason to have to totally disable Bitdefender, though apparently you can do that via Safe Mode and using MSCONFIG to shut down the Bitdefender services: see /index.php?/topic/74559-bitdefender-security-2017-temporary-turn-off/&do=findComment&comment=265884" rel="">this post.
If I am going to install a program that Bitdefender might block (Malwarebytes version updates), I go the "View Modules" on the Protection Screen, and then to "Anti-Virus" at the top left, with the "gear" icon, and then turn off the two modules there for the duration of time that is need for the update. Upon completion, I go back and turn the two modules back on, and then re-enable Auto-Pilot. That has always worked for me.
Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Thanks a lot for your precious news.
Another, maybe easier solution would be to run task manager (ctrl+alt+del). Navigate to services tab, and locate bitdefender service. Right click and select stop.
But there is another option. I don't remember anymore. When I use BD 2017 version there is a page where you could disable BD for some minutes, for one hour or forever. Where is that page please? Thanks
