Setting up ransomware protection

Can someone point me to how to set up ransomeware protection?  I am using Total Protection 2017.  I read somewhere that only files in Documents are protected but I would like to include my Dropbox folder, which is not in Documents.

Hello,

 

Please go to Bitdefender > Protection > View Modules > Ransomware Protection and enable it.

After it was enabled you will have a ADD button on the lower left side of the interface allowing you to add more folders.

Keep in mind that it may cause slowdowns if you add a large part of your HDD. Of course it all depends on your hardware.
