Bitdefender wont activate because of previous antivirus
I recently purchased, and then tried many times, to activate Bitdefender without any success. It keeps telling me that I have Kaspesrky installed. I uninstalled Kaspersky some years ago correctly, then used their own uninstall tool. As a last resort, I have removed all instances of it in the Registry. However, I still cannot activate Bitdefender.
I have requested a refund, but keep getting non helpful emails directing me to "Help" pages, but none of them give a valid response. I now have eleven emails of various types in my Inbox.
I have received two or three emails from AvangateZendesk with "request number 1309822 being reviewed", another one asking if I was satisfied with the support I received. (non existent)!
Any ideas how to obtain the refund for a non activated service?
