Outlook 2016 blocked

Hi,
I had an update for icloud on my windows pc today. (Using icloud email through outlook on my pc). But when the update finished and i restarted, i could not open outlook anymore. Im getting windows screen with text on it, that i have not enough permission to open outlook1.pst. Then i've noticed that bitdefender ransomware blocked outlook.exe
Anyway to fix this? I know i could add it to trusted applications, but is this safe to do? What if this was an attack off some kind?
