Install file won't run.
The automatic update from 2017 to 2018 caused Sandboxie to not start. I tried disabling every BD TS module I could identify in the revamped interface, but no joy, so I uninstalled it until I could find a Sandboxie configuration code to disable BD in in the Sandboxie config file so it would run/start. (found one to try.) So I downloaded the BD TS (re-) install file from devices but it won't run (the run circle whirls but then stops, no error message is generated). I had been runniing Hitman Pro, Zemana and Malwarebyte Anti-ransomwware Beta alongside BD TS so I tried disabling them. Still no joy. I tried installing from a full admin acct, but still no joy. (BTW, when I uninstalled BD I used Revo Unistaller to eliminate all old residual BD TS files/registry entries.) Any thoughts on what else I should try?

Have you tried to reinstall Bitdefender after you connected to BitDefender Central?
There is no offline kit for Bitdefender 2018!
It only installs from BitDefender Central after logging inWindows 11 Pro - 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900KF @3,50 GHz, 128.0 GB RAM

Yes, the file I Am trying to run to re-install was downloaded from bD Central. It's only 9.47 MB and must be a setup downloader file. I set BD Central to activate the device.0 -
Hmm .. very strange!
Do this:
1.Download the Bitdefender Uninstall Tool from here: https://www.bitdefender.com/files/KnowledgeBase/file/Bitdefender_2018_UninstallTool.exe
Run it
2.Then, after restarting the PC, use this tool: http://kb.supportbd.com/files/Patch-SetID-Cleaner.exe and run it.
3.Then download CCleaner (it's free application) to clean the registry
Then restart your PC
4.After rebooting, logged in to your Bitdefender Central account, download from the new installation kit and it will need to run
IMPORTANT
after the first reboot of the PC, produced by Bitdefender uninstall tool, please check that the Bitdefender Agent is also present in the Control Panel, programs and features. If so, uninstall it from there
Then follow the rest of the stepsWindows 11 Pro - 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900KF @3,50 GHz, 128.0 GB RAM

Thank you very much. I got Bitdefender to install. Plus the fix for Sandboxiw worked. I used your instructions (althoughI used a different registry cleaner: JV16 PowerTools 2017) and also instead of disabling HitmanPro, Malwarebytes Anti-ransomwware and Zemana I added the Bitdefender downloaded install file as an excluded file.
Thanks again0 -
I'm very glad I was able to help you!
A wonderful day!
