Since my system auto upgraded to Internet Security 2018 I noticed an immediate spike in CPU usage. Interrogation of the Task Manager showed this to be due to NT Kernel & System. This doesnt tell you much, however further interrogation using Systernals Process Explorer shows the high CPU in the system Kernel is due to a file called ignis.sys which is described as Bitdefender "IGNIS filter driver", whatever that is. Anyone else come across this and the potential solution? It currently accounts for 20-30% of CPU!
Thanks
