Bitdefender not working with Airplay & Virgin superhub 3

Hi. Here in the UK I recently updated my Virgin Superhub 2 to their Superhub 3. Immediately I had a problem with my NAS drive not connecting and Airplay disappearing on my Macbook. I was advised on the Apple forum to uninstall Bitdefender which I did and which immediately solved both problems. Obviously I want to continue using Bitdefender but there must be something clashing with Bitdefender and the new Superhub 3. There must be more UK users out there with my sertup, ie late 2013 Macbook Pro running OS Sierra 10.12.6 with Bitdefender through a Virgin Superhub 3 so if there are and you've managed to solve it then I'd like to know please. Otherwise, Bitdefender, are you aware of this issue (I've raised a ticket and waiting for reply).
