Router listed as "Disconnected"


Just hooked up my Box 2  a couple of days ago.  At first my router was listed as "Protected", now it is listed as "Disconnected" even though it is obviously connected and everything connected to it is working as it should.


Should I turn the router off and then on again or is there another way to handle this?

  • i'm having the same thing happen. usually it is my windows laptop and my iphone that will show as 'disconnected' even tho it is not only connected, but programs open and running! (bBox v1)

    Hi Michael,


    My Netgear router is listed as "Disconnected" 6 days ago.  The other day I got an email from the  Bitdefender BOX Team that said " We've noticed that your Bitdefender BOX is offline. Is there something we can help with?"


    My Netgear router is obviously working since all connected devices (direct or wireless) are working.


    My Box 2 is showing a full blue circle (not spinning or blinking) and says it is connected and protected; many of my devices are listed as connected and protected.


    Is there anything I can do to correct these issues?
