Hi all. Will receive Box2 in a few days and have a few Q for the group ...
1. My Arris dg3270 modem must have dhcp enabled to work TV set boxes connected through MOCA. Its IP address is the usual 192.168.0.1. I have disabled wifi on the Arris since I have an eero router handling this.
2. Eero router IP is 192.168.7.1 thus uses double NAT and does all the wifi. Works fine with the Arris given the different IP sets.
3. Can Box2 co-exist with dhcp in the Arris modem. What is the IP address that Box2 uses ... ? I can put my eero router in bridge mode but cannot disable dhcp on the Arris modem. Will this cause problems with Box2? ( I can change the Arris IP if necessary).
