Bitdefender 2018 security service memory consumption

I'm running Bitdefender Internet Security 2018  22.0.21.297  (engine def 7.76.385 at the moment of writing this message) under windows 10 1803.17134.112 on a Ryzen 7 1700 AMD cpu with 16gb of RAM. I've noticed that (even with previous versions of BIS 2018 as well previous Window 10 build) the amount of memory used by vsserv.exe (21.0.21.293) is constantly increasing since the system start. Around 100mb are required just after the boot.


Using Firefox 60.0.2 64bit for some web browsing constantly increase the amount of memory required..after an hour of web browsing vsserv is at 385MB of occupied memory. Even closing Firefox, vsserv does not release memory.


Whenever a signature upgrade ends, vsserv memory usage decrease (for example it reduces about 100MB after each signature update)


Is this behaviour to be considered normal or does vsserv need some optimization to reduce memory leaks and increase memory release after some usage?
