Not able to install Bitdefender, Just because Avast isn't uninstalled properly.
Hellow everyone, I had Avast free antivirus installed on my computer that i removed from program and features today. But after reboot avast is still apearing on my pc but not in program and features. Now avast is blocking my Bitdefender setup from getting installed.. I have gone thrugh avast forum but they are not replying to my topic.. please help.

I do sympathise. I think there will be a couple of clearance programs you will need to run to get rid of the tail ends of Avast. Certainly that's been the case with AVG, which is now part of Avast. You'll need to find them on the Avast site, and my guess is that they'll be called "Clear" and "Remover", if AVG is anything to go by. Hope that helps.0 -
