Updating BD-Total-Security 2018 to 2019 etc.
I am running Bitdefender Total Seurity 2018 on Win-10-1803-17134-285. I singned into my account and downloded the given file for updating to 2019 (bitdefender_windows_4be206baxxxxxxxxx.....exe, 11.266 MB, I installed it as admin, the process started, but after a short while nothing was happening. Inspite of that I rebooted my PC, but there was no button "Install" and the program still appears as "Bitdefender Total Security 2018". What am I doing wrong? My second problem is: Where can I check the installed version-Number and in which file are my settings stored from Total-Security 2018, and can I copy that file into the updated version 2019 in case I can make a functioning update to 2019 ??? Thank you for any help !!

The automatic update process to Bitdefender 2019 has been started, and you should be receiving this update soon, if you have already.
Manually upgrading will not save your settings, so if you have many custom settings I'd recommend waiting a bit more for the automatic upgrade.
As far as checking the product version, this can be done by following these steps:
- right click on Bitdefender icon near the clock (from the system tray)
- choose About.
