Bitdefender needs to mind its own business
I cannot use a VPN service or use half a dozen sites that I've regularly been using for the past 10+ years, because "Bitdefender blocked a threat," and there's NO WAY to turn that off, disable it, or add an exception.
My subscription expires soon. Any recommendations for a less intrusive security software solution?

Never mind. I'm tired of it. I uninstalled it and am going with Windows Defender and *insert advertisement for another security solution here*

I'm sorry to hear about the disruption you have encountered while using your computer. Those notifications are usually caused by browser extensions that attempt to make suspicious connections in the background of your browsers, thus, the situation should be solved easily by resetting your browsers. You can do so by following the steps in the article below:

Thank you for that link. I had forgotten about it. Chrome has a lot of "Aw Snap" crashes due to some third party interference. Google knows about it but can't seem to have the knowhow to fix it. I'll see if I can find a fix in it.0
