Bit Defender VPN Compared to IP Vanish
Hi,
I am new to the forum but have been using Bit Defender Internet Security for almost a year. I have also had a seperate VPN subscription through IP Vanish for longer than that.
I am a relatively low usage user of the VPN and would be interested in peoples thoughts around the Pro's and Con's of Bit Defender compared to something like IP Vanish, if people have used both or other VPN services.
The obvious Pro is the Bit Defender solution is lower cost, but are there any significant drawbacks?
I would welcome any thoughts or information people may have.

Bitdefender vpn is rebranded version of hotspot shield vpn, which act as a different product but works on the base engine/ server of hotspot shield. Though collecting logs is against the privacy policy of bitdefender, but when it comes down to hotspot shield, its history shows that it tracks down user details. At the end it comes down to the user, if he/ she wants to use the VPN facility.

Thanks, useful info in bold and something I will look into more. My current IPVanish sub is good for a few months yet so not a priority to change right now.
