Driver Genius Pro 21 Detected as a Threat

Hi,

I have been using Driver Genius Pro 21 for a couple of years now, but suddenly Bitdefender Total Security has decided it is a threat and keeps blocking/quarantining it.

Anyone had this issue?

The use of driver updater programs is not recommended. You should download drivers only from your device manufacturer to ensure that they work properly. Many computer vendors customize drivers for the architecture of their computers. You can see this link for more details.

You could always add an exception to Bitdefender if you are adamant in wanting to use that program.
