Anti-Theft functionality not working

Hello,
One of the reasons I bought Bitdefender for Android was its anti-theft functionality. Unfortunately, it is not working. When I log on to my b-d account on my laptop, I see my mobile device (correctly linked). However, each anti-theft functionality is not working.
I can't lock the phone, the signal is not playing, the device can't be located...
Although after using: phone lock and play signal, Bitdefender central on laptop reports success (phone locked, signal played etc.)
Any advice on what I can do with it?
