After the configuration process, if a user can’t see the Network Name of the range extender on the Wi-fi list, he won’t be able to extend the wireless coverage area of his network. Once the setup process of the range extender is done, it will have a new Network name. For some models of the Tp-link, the default Wi-fi name won’t change but for others, _EXT will get added at the end of the SSID name. You can always customize your own Network name using the tplinkrepeater.net interface.
