ERROR 181-182
I subscribed to Bitdefender about 6 mos ago. I get the "full protection" status on my dashboard. When I shut down my computer and reboot, I see a brief VPN showing an IP address, but that lasts about one minute or so then it disconnects. I then try to reconnect, and I get "ERROR 181 or 182. I tried to reconnect again several times choosing US or pick one of the 51 countries and I get the same errors. Does anyone have the answer?

I have been getting a similar error message. "VPN connection has stopped because of and error : 182 (TunnelConnect)" . I am having issues staying connected to wifi. I noticed when I turn off my VPN my wifi reconnects. I do not know if there is a collation with the two. I have Xfinity wifi/cable/internet. I have sent in a request for help with Bit.

I had just arrived in SE Asia and had VPN issues since I got to my apartment. After the first issue was resolved successfully by removing the Temp Files and rebooting, I now have Error 181 to deal with. This is my third issue with Bitdefender in less than 30 days. The first problem was not being able to use browsers. That one took 6 days to solve. I hope to get help quickly now.

I have error 181 so often with VPN. it looks like known issue, but I couldn't find how to resolve this issue. I need to fix this issue asap.

You advise that Error 181 is a known issue...this was 18 months ago. I am currently receiving Error 181. Do you have a proper fix yet??
